St. Patty’s pot o’ gold

I just have a couple

more little candy gifts for

St. Patrick Day!

I adore these small plastic cylinders I found at Hobby Lobby usually used for storing beads in.

With the pot of gold at the bottom of the rainbow, it totally makes sense.

Rolo’s and Skittles!!

My helper, she is always by my side. And of course we were watching “When in Rome” which is totally a cute movie.

I cut these tags out with my Cricut, and used close to my heart stamps.

Glass Bottle Decoration

I have been saving this bottle since New Year’s Eve.

Now I finally came up with a use for it.

Check it out.

A little Baker’s Twine, 3 paper flowers to make a Shamrock, and some Green St. Patrick filler coming out of the top.

Super Easy!

Do you feel LUCKY?

Yup, I do!!

Not the kind of Luck like winning the Lottery or anything.

Maybe the luck you feel when you find the best deal on something.

Or when you remember where something is after looking

for it for the last 5 days.

Well I did feel lucky when I won my Cricut. That was pure

LUCK..

I think mainly for me it is appreciating the little moments in my

LIFE..

My Family, Health, Relationships, The Gospel, Friends,

A good Laugh, A Movie with Popcorn,

an Afternoon with my Kids, Taking a Nap, etc.

I hope you all had a wonderful day,

Vicki

What's for Dinner?

Not tonight, but on March 17th I made Corned Beef and Cabbage. It was delicious. Yes the Leprechaun's found our house this year. He left us Lucky Charm Cereal for Breakfast.  Some gold coins and rainbow licorice for the kids. I also made green jello of course, cuz that is so easy. Well that's about it. Our March is going good and we are healthy and happy. So Lucky and/or Blessed for one thing we all feel Loved! I decided am going to put my recipes on just because.

Corned Beef

Trim the Meat
Place in Crock Pot with Spice Packet
Add 1 Cup Water
Cook for 8 Hrs.
About 1 Hour before it is done I added Cabbage, Red Potatoes, Carrots, Onion

Festive Cabbage Salad

1 small head Cabbage, shredded
2 celery chopped
2 green onions sliced
1 med. tomato chopped
1/3 C mayo
3 Tb sugar
1 Tb lemon juice
1 Tb white wine vinegar
1 t. celery seed
1/4 t seasoned salt
1/4 t pepper
1 med. avocado diced

In a large bowl and mix! Very Good From Allyson, Thank you

I saw several things online, I never tried them but thought they looked good. Take a look.

I'm the LUCKY one..

Along with being LUCKY, I feel totally BLESSED!! To be a Wife,Mom,Sister,Friend,Aunt,Daughter to name a few. Also, my favorite color is GREEN. Our family had a great St. Patricks day.. It started with the kids getting ready for school and they all made sure they were wearing GREEN. From eating green food, gold coins, pinching each other it was a day to remember. Gavin came home sick from school today, with the stomach flu. He was asleep when I took this photo of the kids. I did have to go to YW, it was "get to know your leaders night". So need less to say it was pretty fun pulling out the old photos and them asking all very inappropriate questions when it was finally over I was ready to be home. I do miss the Dinner that Grandma Allyson always prepares for her family, I love her Corn Beef and cabbage and salads it is a WONDERFUL tradition and I am THANKFUL for the times we have been able to attend.
