This sums it up!!

I think the girls had fun.

I was in charge of the Combined YW activity.

I went with the Theme "Beauty lies within" we had it at the church to start I had them split in 3 groups and they went to different centers.

1. Makeup

2. Hair

  3. Fitness and Health

  15 min at each one.

Then we were all together and we played a game Called Name the Stache?

I printed out people and cartoon characters,  blacked out there eyes and they guessed who they were.

I then did a little talk on Looking BEYOND the mustache or make-up, cloths etc.

How 1st impressions and a SMILE can go along ways.

To ARISE & SHINE FORTH because you never know who is watching you.

I spray painted some old picture frames and made some props to take there pictures.

O, ya and Creamies for a treat, how could I forget that!

A few weeks ago we went to Southern Utah for a Dance Competition and

go fishing at Lake Mead. It was awesome and we had a great time.

DIY Ballet Bar

 

Whitney has asked for and wanted a ballet bar in her room. So I started asking Mr. Tool Man, Mr. Right, aka Scott what he thought. Together we both agreed that the wall right by her stage would be perfect. So he began. He wanted it to be adjustable heights, and really sturdy.  He is the mastermind and I just gave a lot of encouraging words. I think it looks amazing. Whitney couldn’t be more happy.

A new addition to her room. So she can sing and dance to her hearts content. Thanks, Mr. C she loves it!

Our FAVORITE treat…

 

Yum Yums well that is what we call them. I think they have many names. This is one of our Families Favorite Treats. I had them as a little girl, and we have them at almost every picnic.

1 C. Sugar

1 C. White Karo Syrup

1 C. Peanut Butter

6. C. Rice Krispies

1 Sm. pkg. Butterscotch Chips

1 Sm. pkg. Chocolate Chips

Combine sugar, Karo syrup and peanut butter in a pan. Bring to a boil. Stir until dissolved. Pour over cereal and mix together. Press in a greased cookie sheet. Melt chips together and spread over top. Enjoy!!
