Great to be 8...

I can't hardly believe it has been 8 yrs since
Whitney came into our family.
Our lives have been forever changed.
A few things Whit loves at age 8 are:

She loves to sing, dance, playing the piano
cooking, scrapbooking, making cards and notes
to everyone in her family. she is independent,
loyal, loves to read, wants to go back to school,
she is a wonderful little mommy! she loves cloths
with BLING:) loves her stuffed animals, not afraid
of anything, as BRAVE has a boy, makes LIST like
her mom, loves fruits and veges, and milk, likes
fishing and riding motorcycles, doesn't like tomatoes,
can't eat corn on the cob.

Oh how I love her and how lucky I feel to be her MOM!!

We did have a kid bday party for her! It was a cooking party so
here are some pic. from it. She said it was wicked and she loved it!!

The invitation..

Welcome to Whitney's Kitchen!!

So they could take there leftovers HOME!!
They each got to make there own personal pizza and there own drinks, and decorate there own cake. Also decorating there aprons was a hit! What cute girls:)

We gave her stuff for her ROOM:)

Girls Camp 2010

Keepers of the Flame was the Theme for this year. It was a Stake Girls Camp and we had a really marvelous time. Beside freezing our butts off at night.. Who wouldn't thought?
The girls all had a wonderful time. They are such good examples and good friends with each other, Whooh, Could have been much worse. But am thankful it wasn't.  It was at JR properties over by Mt. Pleasant! We named our selfs Herriman 2nd Ward (H2 WOW) meaning Herriman 2nd woman of wonder!! I am thinking I won't be forgetting camp for along time, at least I hope I don't. Good times!

Highlightes were:
The unforgettable 3 and 5 mile hikes
Zipline
Singing along with the gutiar around the fire
Testimony Meeting
Cellphone Hill
Getting the Surburan Stuck
Orange Headbands
Brain Freeze Salon
Forgetting the propane tanks

I have grown to love the YW leaders, what great woman, mothers, friends, listeners, wifes, daughters, neighbors, sisters they are!! XOXO

70 Years...

Happy 70th Birthday Dad!! We all enjoyed sending the evening together with my dad for his birthday. We went swimming and then had a BBQ. Afterwards went back to the house and listened to stories of his childhood and different times in his life, as well has moms. We actually asked the questions and video
there answers. So that was nice to learn so much more about them. We gave him a Scrapbook with 2 pages from each child with our favorite memories and what we learned from him. It turned out great. We were missing Denise and Russell. We are all so grateful for such a Wonderful, Hard working and Humble father he is to us. We look up to him and Love him very much.
