Still Standing!!

So this is how the story begins: Saturday March 20th Tristin was at Scout Overnighter and they just happen to go Sledding, He fell off and hit a tree.  He said he was in instant PAIN. His leaders swore to us that it wasn't broken and that Tristin was the TOUGHEST kid, he barely complained. They brought him home he said he couldn't touch it or move his left leg at all. But still no complaining. We did all the normal stuff ICE packs, and laying on the couch alot of that. We are so BLESSED to have a great neighbor who is a DR. (Dr. DAVE) and on Sunday night at 10 o'clock at night he come over to take a look. He said for sure it needs an x-ray. So Monday morning I got other kids off to school and we went to the hospital for x-rays. Sure enough the bottom of this Femur was fractured. Now it is a waiting game, which we have played several times before with other broken bones in our family. He will see the Ortho Pedic. Surgeon on Monday too see what they can do. Options 1. (let it heal on its own) 2.(remove the bone that is detached) 3.(surgery to put a pin in).
Which ever one it happens to be we will be prepared. Tristin's FAITH is so strong he said he knows the Lord will heal him, and that he will be just fine, and back to NORMAL soon.  Just in 5 days I can tell you a THOUSAND things I am more AWARE of that he did for me and OUR family. So I hope he HEALS fast!!

I'm the LUCKY one..

Along with being LUCKY, I feel totally BLESSED!! To be a Wife,Mom,Sister,Friend,Aunt,Daughter to name a few. Also, my favorite color is GREEN. Our family had a great St. Patricks day.. It started with the kids getting ready for school and they all made sure they were wearing GREEN. From eating green food, gold coins, pinching each other it was a day to remember. Gavin came home sick from school today, with the stomach flu. He was asleep when I took this photo of the kids. I did have to go to YW, it was "get to know your leaders night". So need less to say it was pretty fun pulling out the old photos and them asking all very inappropriate questions when it was finally over I was ready to be home. I do miss the Dinner that Grandma Allyson always prepares for her family, I love her Corn Beef and cabbage and salads it is a WONDERFUL tradition and I am THANKFUL for the times we have been able to attend.

We keep Marching..

Well another week has past and along with doing our daily and weekly routines like Homework, Dance, Scouts, Piano, Basketball, Young Womans, making dinner, doing Chores ETC. Payton had another Ear infection and Gavin and Whitney had Parent Teacher Conf. which both of them are doing very well and they like school so much. They are very good at getting there stuff done and turned in on time. Both listen and particapate in class. Way to go Kids, I love you thanks for always trying your very BEST!! All of the kids were extra excited this week since we found out the Lopshire cousins were going to be able to come stay with us this weekend. It has been a blast and they have enjoyed being together. What I have learned from them so far is Tallan really enjoys his Teacher in school this year Mr. Hofhiens and NaTayla has many friends and is a HUGE help to her mother at home. Breagon LOVES mac&cheese and can eat a whole box by himself, He like cars and still will let you hold him with his blanket :) Jaxson is a BIG eater and loves NaTayla and to be where ever everyone else is. What a sweety. It has been great for everyone. I took NaTayla, Breagon and Whitney to Disney on Ice tonight and they liked it. But afterwards saw a homeless man and he tried talking to us and they did get freaked out about that. Tallon and Tristin went a Birthday Party on Friday night and Saturday night they went and saw Avatar. So as we end this week I am truly happy that we made some memories together and look forward to many more.

A Turning Point 1 and 13!!

With Feb just passing I need to say "How can I truely have a One year old and a Thirteen year old." Days just go by way to fast for me. My kids are getting so big. Which means I am getting so Old. We had a great birthday party for the Two of them. Many friends came to celebrate with us. Tristin is so responsible and a very soft hearted boy. Payton has all eyes on her at all times we all just cant get enough of her. She is always happy and climbs everywhere. Tristin is playing Basketball right now, but can't wait until Football gets here.
