Homemade Lollipops

Over the weekend we made Lollipops, the kids were so excited. Scott went to Orson Gygi (see gygi.com)  to get the supplies we needed. It was fun and easy.

Old Fashion Lollipops

1 Cup Sugar

1/3 C Karo White Corn Syrup

1/2 C Water

Cook this on the Stove until it reaches 300 Hard Crack stage

Remove from heat and put 1 tsp. Flavoring and food coloring if needed.

Pour in to molds right away.

Grease your molds with Crisco and have them prepped and ready to go.

This recipe makes 10 suckers.

Yum Yums well that is what we call them. I think they have many names. This is one of our Families Favorite Treats. I had them as a little girl, and we have them at almost every picnic.
