Temple Re-dedication coming soon!

Next Sunday we get to participate in the Ogden Temple dedication.

We go to church and watch via satellite You have to 8 and have a yellow card

given to you by a member of the bishopric or a temple recommend.

So my girls are age 11 and most of them have been lucky enough to attend a

couple of these for the Brigham City, Oquirrh Mtn, and Draper Temple. For the last

activity I thought I would talk to them about the Hosanna Shout and give them a

white handkerchief with their name on it. Then we drove to the Oquirrh Mtn

Temple and took pictures and had ice cream.

Payton and Whitney are the best helpers anyone could ask for.

felt flower hair clips and playing at the park…

Back in May the girls made Felt Flower Hair Clips.

All you need is felt, cut in circles, hot glue, clips, some put buttons on too.

Pretty easy and they like making these they get to take home.

SEW easy!!! Activity Days

For January’s activity I taught the

girls how to hand sew

with a needle and Embroidery floss.

They sewed on cardstock, making

flowers and sewing on a button

for the top of the flower.

They had a good time and hopefully it

will come in handy one day!

Activity Days DIY Be Grateful Block

This time for our activity we talked about being Grateful, and Giving Thanks.

They painted the blocks black and they could choose the paper and the

words, then pinned them on with Upholstery tacks.

This was the easiest little craft

ad they liked it.

I asked them what they are most grateful for and they all said

Friends, Family, Air,

Food, and Water.

Daddy Daughter Date Activity Day Girls

Once a year we have an activity with the girls and their Dad’s.

The girls ages from 8-12.

This year all the leaders decided on a night full of Food, Candy and Carving Pumpkins.

It was a fun night.

I was in charge of Invitations, something the girls could give their Dad’s,

prizes, and a treat for each girl.

You’ve been BOOED!!!

In October for one of the activities I had the girls over and we made Witch hats and

Witch brooms out of candy.

(Reese, Kisses and cookies) and also a little icing.

I printed these sign out and cut out the tags and pumpkins with my circuit.

They had fun taking them to random people around the neighborhood.

This is a super easy and fun activity and a good way to do something nice for

someone else.

activity days M&M

This weekend is General Conference which happens 2 times a year for

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

I’ve been thinking how we can prepare our self?  For this great privilege we have to

hear from the Apostles and Prophet.

Do you have questions weighing on your minds and hearts?

Are we open and willing to listen?

I asked the girls to try to Make the Most of General Conference!

What a great reminder to us all.

FHE Lesson–activity days

The girls need to prepare and give a FHE lesson to their families. I helped them

prepare one File Folder style. Thier was the cutest Lie Monster Story on

Sugardoodle. I printed them all and they cut them out and glued and got it all

ready. Take a look!
