Beauty lies WITHIN
So the YW in my ward wanted to do Manicure’s… So of course this got me thinking. I had already order some nail decals of little black mustaches. They are so CUTE. I decided to make them each a scrub for there hands. We had a good time and we talked a bit about Beauty and how each of them were created by a Loving Heavenly Father.
And my shadow my 14 year old son helped me… Tah Dah…

SWEETest OF them ALL….
Valentine’s is right around the corner. I have to say that I have no will power when it comes to all the sugary, goodness that is all over every isle at the grocery store. There are a million ideas on little Valentines to make, and I can’t make them all, but I want too.
These are the 2 I chose to do this year, for Whitney’s class at school. The flower suckers are for Payton’s friend’s and the YW in my class. Gavin he is more leaning toward not giving anything out. I hope he changes his mind, so I can get busy. I wouldn’t blame him he is in 6th grade.

In this Life..
This Morning Our Sweet Grandma Brough passed away. I immediately thought of what an amazing life she had, and how grateful I was to be apart of it. I have learned so much from her. She was a wonderful COOK, very INTELLIGENT, liked playing GAMES, a caring GREAT GRANDMOTHER to my children, and a JOKESTER. My second thought was how happy she must be to be reunited with her son Bradley after all these years. What a sight that would have been. My heart is filled with such love and hope for what comes next for her. And also to her Daughter my Mother in-law. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. What an amazing example of devotion and strength you have showed all of us.
This poem pretty much sums up how she lived her life.
I am so blessed to know I will see all my loved one’s again. Until that time comes I will do my best IN THIS LIFE, which I have been GIVEN!

It’s a new year..
time for new beginnings,

and he rather not do any of it

Christmas Morning..
Yup I woke my kids up at 6:00am. I was so excited for Christmas this year. I could barely sleep. I still get little butterflies in my tummy whenever I see Santa Claus. I love the anticipation and surprises. I also love the feeling of Christmas and what it means to Celebrate the Saviors birth. I love to hear bells ringing, people shopping, singing, wishing strangers Merry Christmas. I love reading Christmas stories to my children. The spirit of Christmas to me is a feeling of JOY, LOVE, and PEACE.

Christmas EVE..
The anticipation has come, its almost Christmas Day. We spend our morning at Basketball practice. Then I was cooking Muddy Buddies, Lil Smokies, Fudge and Carmel. It was time to go to the Scribner’s for Dinner.
We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends. We all had a Joyous time, spreading Christmas Cheer.
