My Dad 2014

The person who woke me up every morning for school, who would wait patiently for me to come down for early morning family prayer around the kitchen table. Who taught me not to be afraid of herding cows, to drive a tractor, to let baby calf's suck on my fingers, falling asleep on the bail wagon, and changing sprinklers, and going on a ride was actually going to change the water. To obey my mother, respect her and do what I was told. The man who rarely raised his voice, but his actions were so loudly seen. He is the most unselfish and hard working man, (funny I married someone just like him). While we would be shopping you could find him in the car reading or asleep. Our family vacations always included going to a National Park and usually helping someone we didn’t know. He also hand wrote me homemade birthday cards, which I still have. He always encouraged me to follow my dreams and try new things, to choose the right. He is always serving, sacrificing, welcoming, patient, charitable, kind, forgiving and full of love. Thanks Dad, for giving me an amazing childhood, and helping me become who I am today. I love you!
