Tristin 1st Deer!!

Scott has been after me for awhile to Blog about Tristin shooting his 1st deer. So finally I am. They were so excited to going hunting this year. Both boys got there Hunters Safety License 3 years ago. They went out to the Cabin. He shot him the first thing in the morning on the first day. He did miss him on his first shot but then got him. Gavin took off running toward the deer and then was totally freaked out when he got closer. Scott said he couldn't beleive he got him because the weather was alittle foggy and rainy. So that makes it alot more harder to shoot something.  He was alittle nervous, but way excited. Tristin said Scott screamed like alittle girl when he shot him. I think it will be along time before the boys forget this experience with there dad and many others who where there.

Let (THANKS) be what we are (GIVEN)!!

This is really what I wanted to teach my children thru out November and really the whole year. Who knows if it is working. But I really enjoyed reading every ones replies to our Thankful Jar. We had alot of them since 5 of us did it everyday for 24 days that is 120 slips of paper. Some of the things they wrote were like Our Friends, Jesus, Food, Sports, Family, A Job, A wife who cooks, Atonement, Prayer, Medicine, School, A Fun Dad. During Thanksgiving weekend we went to Beaver we had alot of stuff planned. Craft days planned with the Cox's (see below) and the Bradshaw's (coming soon I haven't had time to take pic of it yet.) Cutting a Christmas Tree, Craft Fair, Bridal Shower, Turkey Shoot, Eating etc. What I didn't have planned is ME getting the Stomach flu on Friday. Good it only lasted the day.  I am so Grateful for the Family that I have been given. I am thankful for the relationships I have with each of them.  I Love them all very much.

What a Week..

So far this week I have accomplished a few things. Well know that Halloween is over. Here are some pic of the kids for Halloween.

Tristin wore this to school he was Alfalfa..

Gavin was a Baby and Whitney was a Pumpkin.

Pretty Cute Pumpkin!

Payton was a Ghost, and not into getting her pic taking she hates it!

I bought way to much CANDY

For Trunk or Treat Whit was a Witch! Not sure how many times my kids changed costumes that day but it was alot:)

Then Payton wanted to be a Ladybug (that was last years costumes, with flip flops!)
I was kinda glad to see October leave. Its time to start thinking of November and what we are most Grateful for. So on monday for FHE,  I wanted to make a THANKFUL Jar that each of us for 24 days could write down what we were thankful for. So far it is working great and beginning to full up.

Our THANKFUL jar...
We are still having Footbal practice this week. Tristins team made it to the Semi-Playoff so we are excited for that Tomorrow. We still have everynight packed with stuff each of us are doing Piano, Tumbling, Scouts, Giving Blood, Watching the Evans kids etc and the list could go on and on. But I was so glad when  Wednesday come and I could go down town to Temple Square with the youth in our ward. It was BEAUTIFUL!! The weather was perfect, and the Spirit is so strong there.

Pretty good picture from my phone!

Also I have been making a little craft for Allyson's friend for Christmas presents and I got them done (4 of them) and I think they look GREAT. I hope she likes them.

Our day together (girls only)

This Picture is not good I took it with my phone.
We had a wonderful busy day together. It all started about 7:00 am this morning when Whitney woke me up and said lets scrapbook or make something while Payton is still sleeping. So that is what we did. I had bought her a W for her room and she decorated it, to match her room. She did a GREAT job!! I had been working on making a little Halloween block with glitter and vinyl letter so I got that done too. I made an extra one to give to Steph. By this time it was 9:00 and Payton woke up. So we were off to make Breakfast, Baths, and get ready for the day. Whitney had a Birthday party from 11 to 1 she got to dress up has a Witch.

This gave me time to study my lesson for church tomorrow. It is on Gratitude and Appreciation so I made little Gratitude Journals on the front is says "An Attitude of Gratitude" and inside I put this little quote from Pres. Gordan B. Hinckley " Gratitude creates the most wonderful feeling. It can resolve disputes. It can strengthen friendships, and it makes us better men and women. Your very attitude toward life can be evidence of whether or not you are truly grateful for life, for the blessings you have, for the comforts and privileges and opportunities you enjoy, for the talents you have been given, for everything, be GRATEFUL. Count your blessings and gifts and privileges and see just how long that list is. I imagine that each of you will have difficulties ahead of you. None of us can avoid them. But do not despair. DO NOT give UP. Look for the sunlight in the clouds. And be grateful. for what you have."
I loved this so much and it put alot of things in perspective today.  I knew these YW lessons were really for ME not the girls.
Don't get me wrong I was interrupted about 27 different times to read Payton The Big Brown Bear Book and to sing The Wheels on the Bus. But needless to say I got done what I needed too. This evening I took them to Incredible Pizza Company for dinner and Playtime. They had a good time. I hope Scott and the Boys are having a good time has well.

Sister's weekend:)

A quote that comes to mind when I think of us is "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind". Dr Seuss

April, Me, Denise, Pam, Mom...

1:00 am in the morning! REALLY not kidding it was.

About 2:00 am...

Well, this movie was really long, and probably won't be
watching it again.

Delicious!!!

I adore our aprons so much and they were really EASY!!

This really happened the 2nd weekend in Aug. Better late than never. This year they come up to my house. Scott took the kids to Beaver that was really nice of him. Thanks to his family for watching the kids while he worked. So this is what we did and it was alot of fun, making cards, sewing aprons, dying our hair, eating wonderful food, talking, getting no sleep, attending the Temple, going shopping, watching a movie, are you getting tired yet? cuz after 2 1/2 days of this we all were.  I loved our time together and can't wait to do it again. I have always learned so much from my sisters and mom starting when I was little and love that I still am. They are great examples of service, friendship, being yourself, caring, creativity, giving, hard work, motherly instincts, success, nurturing, and the list goes on. I feel very fortunate and BLESSED to have them in my life. I love you all!
