Great to be 8...

I can't hardly believe it has been 8 yrs since
Whitney came into our family.
Our lives have been forever changed.
A few things Whit loves at age 8 are:

She loves to sing, dance, playing the piano
cooking, scrapbooking, making cards and notes
to everyone in her family. she is independent,
loyal, loves to read, wants to go back to school,
she is a wonderful little mommy! she loves cloths
with BLING:) loves her stuffed animals, not afraid
of anything, as BRAVE has a boy, makes LIST like
her mom, loves fruits and veges, and milk, likes
fishing and riding motorcycles, doesn't like tomatoes,
can't eat corn on the cob.

Oh how I love her and how lucky I feel to be her MOM!!

We did have a kid bday party for her! It was a cooking party so
here are some pic. from it. She said it was wicked and she loved it!!

The invitation..

They each got to make there own personal pizza and there own drinks, and decorate there own cake. Also decorating there aprons was a hit! What cute girls:)

We gave her stuff for her ROOM:)

The girls all had a wonderful time. They are such good examples and good friends with each other, Whooh, Could have been much worse. But am thankful it wasn't.  It was at JR properties over by Mt. Pleasant! We named our selfs Herriman 2nd Ward (H2 WOW) meaning Herriman 2nd woman of wonder!! I am thinking I won't be forgetting camp for along time, at least I hope I don't. Good times!

Highlightes were:
The unforgettable 3 and 5 mile hikes
Zipline

70 Years...

Happy 70th Birthday Dad!! We all enjoyed sending the evening together with my dad for his birthday. We went swimming and then had a BBQ. Afterwards went back to the house and listened to stories of his childhood and different times in his life, as well has moms. We actually asked the questions and video
there answers. So that was nice to learn so much more about them. We gave him a Scrapbook with 2 pages from each child with our favorite memories and what we learned from him. It turned out great. We were missing Denise and Russell. We are all so grateful for such a Wonderful, Hard working and Humble father he is to us. We look up to him and Love him very much.

thought I was in a Dream

So this is how it all started. The Chic-fil-a at The District is the BOMB. They totally rock, the manager there is so creative and does the best things to bring business in to his restaurant. There were advertising a Daddy-Daughter Luau. Scott signed up to take Whitney. So that day Whitney went to work with me and he calls and asked her if she wanted to go on a date with him tonight she thought it was so awesome.  She wondered all day what they were going to do. Anyways when they got home this is what she said. Mom I got to ride in a Limo and dad took pictures cause I knew no one would believe me. It was so fun Mom and we both got Leas, and I made us bracelets and I got this real flower and we had dinner and Ice cream. It was so awesome Mom, I almost "thought I was in a Dream." They had questions there that I could ask Dad, but I knew them already I got them all right. Thanks Dad!! I know I will  remember this for along time. So SWEET I just Love her.

Fathers Day 2010!

Happy Father's Day Scott! Well we have had a great day together. Started by going to church then we watched a movie "When in Rome" it was cute. Then Scott took a nap and we headed to Aprils for Dinner. It was wonderful food and we played croquet and loved the beautiful weather. We all missed Whitney of course she is in Beaver this week. To sum up the last two hours, Scott has been showing the Boys card tricks. The kids gave Scott some home made cards and some candy and drinks that he likes. So over all I think it was a good day.
So why I Love you so? Several million reasons.. Most of them aren't huge things, but all the little things you do. Huge like you PROVIDE for are family. You have a testimony of Jesus Christ. The Best DAD to our FOUR children. Hardworker. Your family comes FIRST. Your my Best friend. UNSELFISH, You teach by EXAMPLE. Little things like when you fix dinner. You always make us LAUGH. There isn't anything you can't FIX. You never GIVE up. You never complain about how many fish we all catch. Helping with the Kids Homework, You can take a JOKE! You spend so much time with us and I am so grateful for the Father you are. There is never a dull moment when you are around. Thank you Hun! You Make our home a place of laughter and FUN.

I am also very blessed to have a great DAD. He has taught me so much, from very early in life. I knew he was the Worlds Greatest Dad! I also knew I needed to marry someone like him. He always put his childrens needs before his own. He taught us all how to work hard, and to be responsible. He also showed me how to find joy and peace in my life and that is thru obeying the commandments, and serving the LORD. I am so grateful for his example and the way he lives his life. I love you Dad.

I also married into a great family of Fathers. Scott's Dad is an amazing father. He has always treated me with respect and kindness. He has showed me LOVE in many ways. Scott has some big shoes to fill. He is a hard worker and would do anything for his family.  He and Scott love to spend time together. I appreciate him very much for teaching and raising Scott the way he did. Scott also has great memories of working with his GRANDPA Cox. He loved him very much. I know by the example of these great men, my own two boys will be great fathers someday.

YW stuff, Monthly Card Exchange, etc.

I am in the YW in my ward, I teach the Beehives they are 12 and 13. They are a bunch of the sweetest and loudest girls I know. But they do particate in all our activities and I enjoy getting to know them.
Our Relief Society this year has started a Card Exchange it is monthly, and there are 12 woman who come. You make 13 of the same cards and then when you meet you exchange them and you come home with 12 different cards and of course you make1extra so you can keep one of your own.  It is fun and I love doing it!! It makes me SMILE:)
