Cousins, Cabin, Cox's!!

Well it was that time of year again. Time to head to the Cabin with the Cox's. The weekend was full of food, 4 wheelers, hiking, shooting guns, kids playing in watering troft, conversations, games, firepit, laughter and all sorts of goodness. The cousins range from ages 14 to 3 months old. We missed having Shandra's and Colt's families with us. I know that the kids will always remember the time they spent together. I am grateful for the memories made this weekend.

Motherhood Matters!!

It's Mother's Day in just a few days. I thought I would jot down somethings about ME.

Who I am???

I think I think to much
I am driven, always busy
I scream on roller coaster rides even
if it's not scary, I think it's funner that way
I like to accomplish things
Grateful I came from a BIG FAMILY, I keep
them all close to my HEART
I am a list maker
I create things
My kids know when the house is clean,
Mommy's HAPPY!
I am all about details
Always up for a GIRLS night
I am blessed with the GREATEST husband
and BEST friend ever
Wish I wasn't so hard on myself
I appreciate SIMPLE pleasures... like
buttered popcorn, DVR, getting my hair done
Love to Laugh
Chocolate Cinnamon Bears
Favorite color is GREEN
Almost everything makes me CRY
I believe I am a child of GOD
Can't stand to exercise but I know it's
the right thing to do
Feels there is nothing... NOTHING that
brings me more JOY and HAPPINESS than
my little family! My husband. My children.
And my sacred role of being a
WIFE and MOTHER.

April just FLEW by...

I know everyone probably agrees with me. That life is just flying by so quickly. We had a busy month full of fun weekends. That include the Clark County Fair, Easter in Oak City, Church Camp out, Easter baskets, Candy, School Reports, Tristin ran for SBO (student body office) Freshman yr.  Payton is getting potty trained. It was Scott and mine 17th wedding anniversary. I am sure I am forgetting something but this is pretty much it in a nut shell. Life is good. The kids are great and we are Enjoying each day together.

Scott and I decided on these Family Rules together!
But really are more like guidelines.
I printed them with my cricut, it took a really long time but I
like how it looks.

Gavin is in the 5th grade. This was a float he needed to do.

Also a Poster, a brochure, A-Z book and 4-6 min oral report.
He has studied very hard and does a great job while telling about
New Hampshire!!!

Pretty good sign! I am proud of him for running even though
he didn't make it.. Way to go!
