Be YOU tiful–Activity days

Every girl needs to know how BeYOUtiful  they truly are. Even as young as they

are they need to be told and feel loved. I had each girl made a 12x12 scrapbook

page and had to list 10 things they are like about themselves. It was harder than

they thought.

I’m a little behind on posting our activity we had in the summer.

So part of going back to school is learning to set goals, accomplishing things, improving self.

I cut out these with my circuit and they put them together. Also wrote down goals on each of them. I forget to take a picture of them done.

GNO Bridal Shower

We were all so excited to have a reason to get together.

And Dee officially joining our family was just it.

Colt and Dee will be getting married next week.

A few weeks ago we celebrated having a “girls night out” 

All the girls in the Cox family come to stay.

I made some decorations and a few small gifts for everyone.

With Hearts, Love, Pink, Chocolate, Fun in mind.

(and a course a banner for Dee to wear while we were out)

I like planning and preparing any get together.

I hope they all had fun.

I planned on homemade BBQ Pizza for lunch.

It was super good and fun.

Then we had to go shopping for t-shirts, so we could Tie-Dye them.

We TOTALLY planned on dressing up in the 80’s era, and going to dinner and go roller skating.

Dinner was at Bonsai a Japanese Steakhouse it was great and entertaining!

We laughed so hard, we fell down, we got back up, made total fool of ourselves

we made memories to last a lifetime.

The next morning I made Coconut Lime Body Scrub for them to take home.

Needless to say we had an amazing weekend together. I love these ladies so much

they are all unique, beautiful, thoughtful, caring, funny and I ‘m lucky to have them

in my life.

introducing Congressmen Jim Matheson

Since it was the first back to school night for the new Copper Mountain Middle School, Gavin got asked to introduce Congressmen Jim Matheson.
He did a great job, he spoke very clearly, loud and slow! I was defiantly more nervous than he was.
He is so excited for school to start, and loves having responsibilities with the other student body officers.

He also just turned 14, he has always been wise for his years and nothing has changed. 14 Words to describe him are: Loyal, True, Compassionate, Tender, Strong, Wise, Pure, Fun, Eager, Aware, Willing, Brave, Outgoing, and Loving. We love watching him grow and becoming such a wonderful young man.

The first day of the school year 2013-14.  This what I decided to make for the kids for there 1st day of school.

An after school snack, lots of sugar!

The boys favorite cookies are for sure Oreo’s! But Whit’s is a sugar cookies!

I hope they have a terrific school year.

Summertime its coming to an end..

Going into this summer I hoped it would be full of making memories!

Guess What?

I think we accomplished that.

Most of this post will be pictures,

but to me pictures are worth a thousand words.

Fireworks

and many more activities!

I’m most grateful that all my kids are still home with me.

That they like to hang out with there Mom.

That we aren’t just family but we are best friends!
