Our bike trip came and went in a hurry!
Seems like we were planning and preparing for months.
Our destination was South Dakota (Mt.Rushmore)
This is going to be picture over load, I think I will group them in days
But first alittle info, first up Wyoming, what first comes to mind is Windy,
no kidding it is so windy there. We went thru Evanston, Green River, Rock Springs,
took a tour of Martins Cove, Rawlins, and then up to Alcova where we stayed in a
cabin by the lake.
It was beautiful, tons of open space, peaceful, warm.

Day 2 we drove thru more of Wyoming to make to South Dakota.
Casper was first, then Lusk, Edgemont, to Hillside SD, Keystone SD
where we stayed and when to Mt Rushmore. It is full of gorgeous trees,
small country towns, trains, it was truly a magnificent place and a wonderful
feeling of pride and freedom their. It was amazing. Our days were filled with
laughter, fun, and adventure.

Day 3
We woke up to rain, we were checking the weather changing our route,
we drove back thru Wyoming so we saw New Castle, Gillette, Buffalo, Worland,
Greybull and stayed in Cody. We drove thru the Big Horn National Forest.
This day ended up pretty cold. But defiantly our longest riding day.
We were pretty sore and happy to have this day over.

On to day 4 this morning we were heading to West Yellowstone which wasn’t to
far at all. We saw some of Yellowstone that we had never seen before. It was
beautiful and we were glad to have the change to see it. It snowed, on us this day.
we are all pretty cold, It rained but that wasn’t too bad. This evening we
stayed in a cabin at Island Park Idaho.

Our last day! Almost home, we drove thru Idaho, back thru Wyoming
around back to Utah. The towns we went to were Rexburg, Swan Valley Idaho.
Alpine, Afton and Montpelier of Wyoming. In Utah we come by Bear Lake, Down
Logan Canyon. It was a perfect last day. It was awesome weather. Beautiful
scenery we both feel so grateful to have had the change to go on this trip together, With
our family and friends. I loved having this much time alone with Scott. I’m so glad
he got me up there safe and back home. We had quite the adventure and I didn’t
complain at all, Except for when I need to stop and get one more layer of clothing
on. Our kids did wonderful while we were gone.
I missed them but didn’t worry to much about them.
I look forward for the next road trip.

Thanks Scott for taking me. I will always remember it!
