We had a wonderful time seeing so many family members. We attend several family parties, many get togethers, watching movies, playing Just Dance 4, cooking, playing games, sledding, snowmobiling, Tristin getting stitches, talking, making memories to last a lifetime and Traditions to keep. We are so grateful and feel so blessed to spend time together.
One of my trees is decorated in Silver, Clear, White,and Royal Blue. I wanted to add some more Blue and also Bling to it. I wanted to make them, I did 2 different one. First thing I added Rhinestones to some plain white frosty balls. Second I put glue dots on the balls and added glitter, and also added Blue ribbon instead of wire hooks.
Merry Christmas it's almost time..
A few nights ago we took the family downtown SLC to see the lights and feel of the magic of Christmas. It was a success we all felt it. The hustle and bustle is in full force. Kids laughing, strangers saying Merry Christmas, families taking photos together, parents trying to get there kids to feel the True meaning of this season. Temple Square is beautiful and peaceful. The visitors center just bursting at the seams with LOVE and PEACE. Music playing everywhere. Also Macy’s the department store has there window displays decorated with all candy.
She was excited and looking forward to getting her ears pierced. But in an instant it turned in to pure sadness. She was pretty upset that the ladies hurt her ears. She told them to take them out and to stop looking at her. Then about 5 min. later it was all giggles and smiles again.
This was my 1st idea for a Christmas card, but to say the least it didn’t work out the way I wanted it too. I wanted a newsletter/picture all in one. But basically I gave up and ordered some from Sam’s Club. Maybe next year I will have more time to spend on them. But now you get the idea.
Just had my very first Activity Days for the 11 yr. olds.
I started with get to know you questions like:
What was the last thing you ate?
Where do you fit in your family? Oldest, Youngest etc.
What is your favorite thing to do?
What would you be interesting in learning at Activity Days?
What is the BEST thing that happened to you today?
Then we made Homemade (do it yourself) Lip Balm
I was in search of how to make it have a color tint and also a flavor!
So I found these air tight containers at Hobby Lobby.
Just add a little coconut oil,
a little Petroleum Jelly,
a packet of single serving drink packet.
MIX together,
put in freezer for about 10 min.
Perfect a little jar of Lip Gloss!
They loved it, and so did my own girls.
Grape, Lemon or Pink Lemonade!!
